TREK: Essential Skills For Guiding Your Group

What Is TREK?
TREK provides you with essential group leadership skills and an opportunity for relationships to form between leaders. It also clarifies the vision of community groups at Brentwood Church.

Who Is TREK for?
TREK is offered to all current Brentwood community group leaders, apprentice leaders, and anyone interested in leading a Brentwood community group in the future. TREK is required for all potential group leaders not being apprenticed inside a current Brentwood community group.

How Does TREK Work?
TREK participants meet once a month for 6 months for dinner, discussion, and training on essential group leadership skills including:

What About Your Spouse?
We believe your spouse plays a vital role in the leadership of your community group, therefore spouses are encouraged to attend TREK.  If both you and your spouse attend TREK we will provide free childcare for your family at all Tuesday night TREK meetings (5 total evenings). See TREK schedule below.

How Do You Join TREK?
Register below before March 21st. But, before you do, please check your calendar and verify that you can do your best to be in attendance at all of the following (TREK #1 and GroupLink are very important):
*On Tuesday, March 30 we will review the TREK schedule and share the full vision of TREK. If you're not sure you want to commit to TREK you could sign up before the deadline and attend the meeting on March 30th and then decide!

The last day to register for TREK is Sunday, March 21, 2010

 

Also, if you have not yet attended CONNECT, our partnership event, please plan to attend soon! All Brentwood community group Leaders are required to attend CONNECT and become a Brentwood partner (member).
